Srinagar, Jan 23 : Based on credible information , a search operation was conducted by the Panthachowk Police Station at the residence of Irfan Ahmad Ganie, son of Manzoor Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Athawajan.
The search, carried out in the presence of the Tehsildar Panthachowk (a Gazetted Officer), resulted in the recovery of 290 bottles of Codeine Phosphate.
According to a police spokesperson, a case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and an investigation is underway, following the filing of FIR No. 05/2025.
