Srinagar-Leh highway closed after fresh snowfall

Ganderbal, Oct 20: The Srinagar-Leh highway closed after the upper reaches of Ganderbal district including health resort Sonamarg received fresh spell of snowfall on Thursday.
An official said that Sonamarg and other higher areas of Ganderbal received fresh spell of snow since early today morning, adding that snowfall was also witnessed in Zojila, Gumri, Drass, Matayan,Meenmarg .
Meanwhile the authorities have closed Srinagar-Leh highway for vehicular movement following fresh snowfall along Zojila Pass.
