Ganderbal, Aug 08:
Amidst the spiritually charged atmosphere of the annual Amarnath Yatra, a heartwarming story of selfless service has emerged. A specially-abled person is extending help to the devotees on their pilgrimage to the holy cave. For the last 12 years, this remarkable individual has been offering his services free of cost, ensuring that the journey for fellow pilgrims is as smooth as possible.
With unwavering devotion and gratitude, this humble soul, who has affectionately come to be known as “Bhole Baba’s Sevak,” has taken it upon himself to repair shoes and bags of the pilgrims embarking on the sacred journey.
“Bhole Baba has given me everything, and now every year, I come here to do sewa by repairing shoes and bags of the devotees during the yatra,” he shared with a smile, radiating his deep spiritual connection to the journey.
In the sanctified environs of the Amarnath Yatra, where pilgrims come seeking blessings and fulfilment of their wishes, this extraordinary soul finds solace in serving others. “It gives me immense pleasure to offer my services to the pilgrims and, in turn, receive their incredible love,” he expressed, his eyes reflecting the sincerity of his service.
The bond between the volunteers and the devotees is a testament to the power of positive emotions like love and affection. Pilgrims, touched by the hospitality and genuine care shown by these volunteers, are full of gratitude. Their experiences underscore the true essence of the pilgrimage – an inclusive journey where people from different backgrounds, be it Muslims or Hindus, extend helping hands to pilgrims at every step. “We are extremely grateful to them,” shared one devotee, encapsulating the sentiments of many.
