Sopore Police cracks theft case

Sopore, Sept 30: Sopore Police have solved a theft case reported at Police Post Bus Stand on September 29, 2025.

According to a statement issued here, case FIR No. 204/2025 was registered at Police Station Sopore following a complaint of theft of a mobile handset and cash. During investigation, one accused, Firdous Mohiudin Shah S/O Ghulam Mohiudin Shah R/O Sidique Colony Sopore, was apprehended. On questioning, he confessed to the crime, and the stolen property was recovered based on his disclosure.

This is the second theft recovery within 24 hours by Sopore Police, reaffirming its commitment to swift investigation, protection of public property, and bringing offenders to justice.
