Soon-to-be married youth killed in B’la road accident

Baramulla, March 3: A 27-year-old biker died in a tragic road accident in Gantamulla area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
A police official said that Nayeem Ahmad Lone, son of Farooq Ahmad Lone and a resident of Badmulla Sheeri, collided with a vehicle near Poshwan Colony Gantamulla, resulting in critical injuries to him.
The deceased was rushed to nearby hospital where from he was shifted to Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla for the advanced treatment.
A healthcare official told Rising Kashmir that the injured biker was declared dead on arrival.
The deceased according to the friends was working for a courier service and was on his way to deliver the parcels.
A relative of the deceased said that Nayeem’s wedding was scheduled to take place in a month, and his death has cast a pall of gloom over his locality.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under FIR Number 279/304A 427/IPC and have begun further investigations into the incident.
