Ganderbal, May 16: A crucial meeting was held in the chamber of the CEO of the Sonamarg Development Authority on Tghursday. Key officials and stakeholders attended to discuss significant issues affecting the region.
Present at the meeting were the Assistant Director of the Forest Protection Force, Ganderbal, the SHO Sonamarg, a Traffic Police Officer, a Tourism Police representative, the Chairman of the Beopar Mandal Sonamarg, representatives from the Pony Union, and various other stakeholders.
The agenda included discussions on the management of the pony stand and pony track, sanitation improvements, an anti-polythene and anti-plastic drive, and the registration of ponies. The primary focus was on saving the environment and preserving the natural beauty of Sonamarg.
