Social Welfare Department is going to organise various beneficiary oriented schemes

Ganderbal, Aug 03: In order to create mass awareness among the beneficiaries of various beneficiary oriented schemes of social welfare Department (SWD), Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah convened a meeting of concerned officers to chalk out the schedule for holding camps in the district.
During the meeting the ADC directed the concerned to upload/rectify the credentials/details on the online portal on-spot, of the beneficieries in these camps.
Moreover, it was directed that the District Social Welfare Officer, Ganderbal and concerned CDPOs shall inform all the beneficiers to attend the said camps and furnish the daily progress report.
The District Social Welfare Officer was asked to coordinate with the concerned to ensure participation of local PRIs, Lumberdars, Chowkidars and Anganwadi Workers in these camps.
The officials from other departments/agencies viz J&K Bank, CSC Operators, Supervisors/Anganwadi Workers, Panchayat Accounts Assistant/Panchayat Secretaries/GRS of Rural Department, PRIs/Municipal Counsellors, Lumberdars and Chowkidars shall ensure their presence in these camps.
The Departmental Heads were directed to ensure participation of all concerned in the village/town level camps.
Moreover, the Programme Officer, ICDS Ganderbal was directed to ask the Anganwadi Workers to facilitate the participation and data uploading of beneficiaries in the said camps.
