Katra, June 01: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, proudly hosted a group of enthusiastic students from K.C. Public School, Jammu, as part of its comprehensive outreach activity program.
This initiative aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and awareness about the opportunities available at higher educational institutions. The visit was meticulously organized by the NSS and NCC teams of SMVDU, ensuring a well-rounded and informative experience for the young visitors.
The coordination of the event was led by NSS Programme Coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, and Dr. Varun Dutta, Asst. Prof. at SMVDU, along with Avdesh Gupta. Throughout the day, the students, accompanied by their teachers, explored various state-of-the-art facilities within the university.
They were given an in-depth tour of the various Labs, Central Workshop, Central Library, and the cutting-edge 3D Printer Lab.
