Jammu, June 22: SMVDU-TBIC, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and the School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU, hosted an inspiring interactive session featuring Adityajay Khajuria, a distinguished entrepreneur and global business leader. The event served as a significant platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to gain first-hand insights from an industry expert with extensive international experience.

The session was attended by students and faculty members from various schools of the university, reflecting wide interest across disciplines. Khajuria, the Co-Founder and Director of Ajashy Engineering Sales India and Arabian Equipment UAE, addressed the participants during the expert session. Under his leadership, these ventures have evolved into global enterprises with operations spanning India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand, delivering products and services to clients in over 30 countries. His strategic vision and commitment to innovation have played a key role in expanding the reach of Indian engineering solutions in international markets. Hailing from Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, and currently based in Gurugram and Dubai, Khajuria addressed the gathering with an engaging talk on “The Path an Entrepreneur Should Follow.” Drawing from his own journey from being a company employee to becoming a successful entrepreneur, he spoke about the key qualities needed for entrepreneurial success — vision, perseverance, adaptability, and innovation. His candid reflections and practical advice resonated deeply with the audience.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr Sanjay Mohan, CEO, SMVDU-TBIC and Chief Coordinator, EDC, who emphasised the importance of industry-academia interaction in fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr Ankush Raina, Faculty, School of Mechanical Engineering, who expressed gratitude to the speaker and participants for their active involvement. The event was collectively coordinated by Dr Sanjay Mohan, CEO, SMVDU-TBIC, and Dr Yatheshth Anand, Head, School of Mechanical Engineering. The coordinators also extended their gratitude to the University authorities for their continued support in organising such impactful events
