Baramulla, Nov 12: A multi-cuisine restaurant was inaugurated on Saturday at Sheeri Narvaw in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Situated in the main market of Sheeri with a view of river Jhelum flowing by its side, the restaurant will serve continental meals to the customers with services from “masterclass” chefs, the owner Faisal Lone told Rising Kashmir.
Faisal, a B.Com student, said he wants to promote “high-class” cuisine at the local level. He has his interests in food production which is the inspiration behind the cafe.
“After completing my B.Com, I started working in food production at Indian Hotel Management Institute Rajbagh, Srinagar and earned a diploma there,” he said. “I have worked in various hotels and gained experience. Then I decided to launch my own business and promote both local and international cuisine at a local level.”
He said the motive behind opening the restaurant at Sheeri is “to serve high-class food with distinctive flavours”. “We have national-level masterclass chefs here,” he added.
