SKUAST-K Faculty of Veterinary Sciences conducts various activities under TSP in Gurez

Srinagar, Aug 10: Under ICAR sponsored Project on Animal Genetic Resources PI of the project Dr Syed Shanaz, Head Division of AGB along with project staff visited different areas Gurez valley in connection with distribution of feed to sheep breeders/Dardi tribals of Baduaab.
The beneficiaries included tribal women and unemployed youth. Training programmes and awareness camps on Conservation and scientific management of animals were conducted at Dawar, Baktoor Tarbal and Baduaab areas during which quality medicine and SKUAST-K formulated balanced animal feed/ration was provided to the tribals. The logistic support was rendered by MARES Gurez KVK Gurez and Departments of Animal and Sheep husbandry.
