The program aimed at the socio-economic upliftment of tribal communities.
Associate Director Research, Dr Najeeb-Ul-Rehman Sofi, Head KVK-Kulgam, Dr Manzoor A Ganie, senior scientist Dr Fayaz A Mohiddin, scientists from MRCFC- Khudwani & KVK, Kulgam and about 50 tribal farmers participated in the programs.
At Kulgam, the program was held on Monday, in collaboration with KVK-Kulgam, while a similar event was conducted on Tuesday for the tribal farmers of Anantnag at MRCFC, Khudwani. ADR emphasized the crucial role of high-quality seeds and modern agricultural practices for increased crop production and profitability, urging farmers to adopt contemporary scientific methodologies for sustainable agricultural practices.
