SIU Srinagar presents chargesheet against 02 active terrorists & 01 killed terrorist

SIU Srinagar presented chargesheet before the Hon’ble Court of NIA Srinagar in case FIR No 50/2022 under sections 307, 302 IPC ,7/27 IA Act 13, 16, 18, 20 & 38 UA (P) Act of Police Station Soura against 02 active terrorists and a killed terrorist.

According to a statement issued here, “On 24th of May, 2022, unknown terrorists fired upon one police personnel namely Saifullah Qadri son of Muhammad Syed Qadri and his minor daughter Safa Qadri resident of Malik Shab Soura Srinagar, in which police personnel got martyred and his minor daughter was injured.”

“During the course of investigation, 03 terrorists identified as Basit Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Rashid Dar resident of Redwani Qaimou Kulgam, Momin Gulzar Mir son of Gulzar Ahmed Mir resident of Firdous Colony Eidgah Srinagar and Adil Ahmed Parray son of Habibullah Parray resident of Badergund Ganderbal were found involved in the terror crime case. Besides, a scooty bearing registration number JKO2CB-1268 used in the terrorist attack was also seized”, it reads.

It reads that one of the accused terrorists namely Adil Ahmed Parray was killed in an encounter with Police Srinagar at Sangam area of Srinagar on 12/06/2022. While as, the other two involved terrorists are still active and linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT/TRF.

However, the investigation shall continue under section 173 (8) CrPC.
