Sideeqia Model School celebrates Teachers Day in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Sep 09:  Sideeqia Model School, situated in the Kral Khani Hayan area of Palpura Kangan, in Ganderbal district in Central Kashmir on Saturday celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm.
 
The event saw an esteemed gathering, including the Chief guest, renowned writer Athar Manigami, senior teachers Sheikh Bashir Ahmed and Dr Altaf Jeelani, village dignitaries, school children and fellow teachers.
 
During the program, the distinguished guests, among them the celebrated writer and teacher Athar Manigami, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed,Dr Altaf Jeelani and Principal of Sideeqia Model School, Arif Ahmed Butt, along several students, emphasized the pivotal role teachers play in molding society and nation-building.
 
The students, in a cultural extravaganza, expressed their appreciation for the dedication, respect, acknowledgment, and love shown by their teachers in nurturing their development. The cultural showcase featured heartfelt poems, soulful songs, and graceful dances.
 
Throughout the event, both students and teachers paid homage to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and celebrated Teacher’s Day. Students applauded the unwavering commitment of the teaching staff.
 
On this special day, students extended their heartfelt gratitude to all their teachers as a token of their affection and presented tokens of appreciation for their dedicated efforts, which were warmly received.
 
The program concluded with a closing message from Principal Sideeqia Model School, Arif Ahmed Butt, who urged all students to prioritize education and steer clear of negative influences.
 
The principal expressed wholehearted thanks to all the students on behalf of the staff and extended gratitude to the teachers for their diligence, sincerity, and hard work.
