In a major breakthrough, the Kralgund police have busted a sex racket operating from a house in Reshipora.
According to police “Acting on a tip-off from reliable sources, a search party conducted a raid on the house of Shabir Ahmad War, where a sex racket was found to be running rampant.”
Five persons, including the house owner and his wife, one sex worker, and two customers, were arrested from the spot. A significant amount of cash, approximately Rs. 47,800/-, was also recovered from the scene.
The details of those arrested are as f Rayees Ah Lone, of Dangerpora, Rafiabad, Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, of Binner, Baramulla, a female sex worker (name withheld), Shabir Ahmad War,of Rishipora Kralgund (house owner) and the wife of the house owner (name withheld).
An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the law at PS Kralgund, and an investigation has been initiated. This is a significant achievement for the Kralgund police, who have successfully put an end to immoral trafficking and brought the accused to justice. The police have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any such illegal activities to their nearest police station.
