Srinagar, Nov 10: Scores of National Conference (NC) workers from Eidgah, Srinagar joined BJP in presence of District President Srinagar, Ashok Bhat at BJP Office Srinagar.
A statement from the BJP said that Ashok Bhat welcomed them in the party family and assured them every support for their smooth functioning for the welfare of the general public and to strengthen the party cadre.
Bhat also congratulated Muneer Ahmad Shah, constituency President and praised for his hard work.
While addressing the new joining, Bhat said it’s because of Modi’s vision and the intention of making this Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir a new Jammu and Kashmir.
“We get joinings in folks as the Kashmiris have now understood that BJP is the only party who can cure all ailments given by other parties,” Bhat added.
Those who joined said that they have seen a series of changes on development for which BJP is getting appreciation from every corner of Kashmir, therefore, they said they are proud of joining the party.
Bhat further added that the PM is serious about Kashmir to make it a model of the world, which according to Bhat has caused “frustration” to NC and PDP.
Bhat added that numerous works for progress, development, upliftment and for welfare of the neglected sections, who were made scapegoat for seven decades, has been done by the BJP.
“People will not be led away by the opposition narratives as they have full confidence in the Prime Minister who is leading 135 crore people of the world’s largest democracy,” he added.
Bhat said that assembly elections are being held in the months of April and May next year. Adding that the more parties there are, the more benefit BJP will get.
A BJP voter will not go anywhere; they will cast their vote for ‘Kanwal’ in any situation.
