Srinagar: The Janata Dal (United) is expanding its presence in Kashmir as more leaders, social activists and respected citizens from various areas, including Kreeri Baramulla, are joining the party.
These joining events are being led by JDU’s Jammu & Kashmir President, GM Shaheen, the party said in a statement issued here.
During a function, Shaheen welcomed the new members and expressed optimism that their inclusion would strengthen the JD(U) at the grassroots level. He encouraged the new entrants to adhere to the party’s core principles and to serve the people of Kashmir with dedication and commitment.
“The growing support for JD(U) reflects the party’s appeal to those who wish to contribute positively to the region’s development and welfare,” Shaheen said.
