Seven passengers injured in Kangan road accident

Atleast seven persons were injured after two passenger vehicles collided with each other on Srinagar Leh highway near Satruna Margund area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

 

Police sources said that a passenger Sumo bearing registration number JK01K/6735 on way from Kangan to Ganiwan collided with a Inova Vehicle bearing registration number DL1CZ/ 7047 near Satruna Margund area, resulting to Injuries of seven passengers boarding on Sumo.

 

Soon after receiving the information Police party from P/S Kangan evacuated all the injured passengers and taken them to SDH Kangan for treatment where from doctors referred them to SKIMS Soura for advance treatment.

 

They have been identified as Zahoor Ah Mir S/0 Shabir Ah Mir R/0 Bonibagh, Dilshada Begum W/0 Badsha Khan R/0 Mamer, Rehmat Niyazi S/0 Gh Abad R/0 Khayam Chock Srinagar, Shagufta Qadir D/0 Gh Qadir Cherwan, Sumo driver Shabir Ahmad S/0 Gh Rasool R/0 Hariganiwan, Hadiya Altaf D/0 Mohd Altaf R/0 Hariganiwan, Shafiya begum W/0 Gh nabi R/0 Hariganiwan. 

 

Meanwhile police have taken congnizance of the accident.
