Srinagar, Mar 01: The Sericulture Development Department J&K on Friday bid farewell to Syed Mohammad Ayub, Section Officer at the Directorate of Sericulture Development Department Srinagar, as he retired on superannuation on February 29, 2024. His tenure comprised 39 years of service to the Department of Sericulture in various capacities.
Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), Director of Sericulture J&K, presided over the farewell gathering, attended by the Development Officer of Sericulture Development Department ISDP Sonawari, along with senior officers and colleagues.
Participants at the event fondly recollected Syed Mohammad Ayub’s invaluable contributions over the years, hailing him as a dedicated team player who consistently discharged his duties with enthusiasm and commitment. Bhat commended Ayub’s diligence, praising his exemplary work ethic and steadfast dedication throughout his career. He lauded the retired officer’s articulate nature and unwavering integrity, noting his respected position among both superiors and subordinates within the Sericulture Dev. Department.
In his remarks, the Director expressed gratitude for Syed Ayub’s exemplary service and wished him a fulfilling post-retirement life. Ayub, in turn, expressed heartfelt appreciation to his colleagues and officers for their kindness and support throughout his career, which he cherished deeply.
Reflecting on his time with the department, he departed with a sense of fulfillment, carrying with him cherished memories and looking forward to the next chapter of his life.
