Srinagar, Dec 8: A seminar highlighting Kashmir’s sacred sites, the Marsiya tradition, and its literary legacy was held at Masjid Sajjadiya in Hasanabad, Rainawari, on Sunday.
Organized by the Moulana Mullah Saeed Muhammad Hamdani Foundation in collaboration with the Mullah Intizamiya Committee Hassanabad, the event aimed to raise awareness about the Mullah family’s contributions to theology, literature, and poetry.
The seminar showcased rare manuscripts and artefacts, and brought together Shia and Ahle Sunnah communities for a meaningful exchange of ideas, promoting the preservation of cultural heritage.
The event highlighted the legacy of the Mullah family, including notable figures such as Mullah Abdul Ghani and Mullah Tahir Ghani.
Speakers emphasized the importance of preserving Kashmir’s cultural and spiritual heritage, and called for collective efforts to protect and promote the region’s rich traditions.
