SED J&K to employ Cluster Resource Coordinators

Srinagar, June 21: The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir is planning to employ ‘Cluster Resource Coordinators’ to provide teaching support in high and higher secondary schools on a temporary basis for the academic year 2024-2025 in all districts of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
The Directors of School Education in Kashmir and Jammu have issued a notification for the recruitment of ‘Cluster Resource Coordinators’ to offer ‘teaching support’ in government high and higher secondary schools until the conclusion of the academic session 2024-2025 (31st March 2025) across Jammu and Kashmir.
The selection of Cluster Resource Coordinators will be done based on merit for each district until 31st March 2025, in accordance with the performance and feedback from the school Head.
The recruitment will be strictly on a temporary basis for Government High and Higher Secondary Schools with a monthly remuneration of Rs.25000/- to be disbursed only after the submission of a satisfactory Character & Antecedents certificate from Special DG CID J&K and in line with the performance and feedback from the Head of the Institution. Candidates are allowed to apply for only one subject.
The temporary hiring does not guarantee any preferential treatment for regular selection, and the tenure of the temporary hiring will conclude on 31st March 2025 without any further notice/information. In the event of a regular arrangement by the Government, the CEO will reassign the same CRC as needed.
In the Kashmir division, 748 teachers will be recruited for 16 subjects in various districts. 12 teachers are to be appointed in Botany, 42 in Chemistry, 31 in Commerce, 50 in Economics, 73 in Education, 26 in Environmental Science, 75 in English, 15 in Geography, 51 in History, 10 in Kashmiri, 74 in Mathematics, 65 in Physics, 68 in Political Science, 34 in Sociology, 88 in Urdu, and 34 in Zoology.
Similarly In the Jammu division, 748 teachers will be recruited for 20 subjects on a temporary basis in various districts. 56 teachers are to be appointed in Botany, 41 in chemistry, 3 in Commerce, 11 in computer science , 1 in dogri, 47 in Economics, 83 in Education, 111 in English, 29 in Environmental Science, 20 in Geography, 47 in Hindi, 34 in History, 68 in Mathematics, 40 in Physics, 52 in Political Science, 6 in Sanskrit, 13 in Sociology, 1 in Statistics, 36 in Urdu and 49 in Zoology.
