Jammu, July 15: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former deputy Chief Minister on Monday expressed unwavering confidence in the capability and dedication of security forces dealing with terrorism.
In a press release issued here, the senior BJP leader emphasised the importance of solidarity and support for the brave men combating terrorism from the front. “The re-emergence of terror in some parts of Jammu province will soon be crushed by the security forces through resilience, bravery, and utter professionalism, as these are already on job to take violence mongers head on,” he said.
Kavinder condemned the recent terror incidents, especially the Kathua terror attack, and reassured the public that every necessary measure shall be taken by the security forces to ensure the safety and security of the region.
“These cowardly acts of terrorism are desperate attempts to destabilise the Jammu region and spread fear among the people. However, they will not succeed. Our security forces are well-equipped and prepared to handle any threat posed by these terror mongers,” Gupta said. He called upon the citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with the security agencies by reporting any suspicious activities.
The former deputy CM said, “The fight against terrorism is not just the responsibility of our security forces, rather it is a collective effort. We must all play our part by staying alert and supporting our security forces in every possible way.” He praised the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities of the security forces through better training, advanced equipment, and improved intelligence networks.
Kavinder said the BJP government under PM Narendra Modi is committed to providing all necessary resources to security forces to help them bolster the security of the region and enable them to eliminate every single entity indulged in terror activities.
