Ganderbal, Feb 27: Sub Divisional Magistrate Kangan (SDM) Javid Ahmad on Monday paid a surprise visit to various government offices of the sub-division in this central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official said that the SDM visited the offices of the Agriculture Development Officer, ZEO, BMO, Irrigation, Public Health Engineering (PHE), ITI, Health Delivery Organization (HDO), Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) and other departments.
During the visit, the SDM found three employees of the Irrigation Department absent and issued a show cause notice to them. He impressed upon the sectoral officers to ensure the punctuality of their subordinate staff to ensure effective service delivery.
