Srinagar, Aug 12: In an effort to stride towards enhancing banking accessibility, the State Bank of India (SBI) has taken a proactive step by establishing a Customer Service Point (CSP) at the heart of Langate and its neighboring regions. This move is anticipated to bring a range of essential banking services closer to the residents of these areas, eliminating the need to journey to the main SBI branch in Handwara.
The inauguration of the CSP was officiated by the Assistant General Manager, General Manager, and Branch Manager of SBI Handwara. This ceremony was also attended by various bank officials and civil authorities, who joined to mark the importance of this strategic development.
The CSP has been strategically positioned at Main Chowk to Langate, positioning it at a convenient central point for easy access. SBI officials underlined that this CSP is fully equipped to offer a comprehensive suite of basic banking services to SBI patrons.
