Srinagar, Sep o3: The State Bank of India (SBI) has inaugurated its new branch at HMT Srinagar, marking a significant step in its expansion across the Kashmir region. The opening ceremony was presided over by Chief General Manager Krishan Sharma, who emphasized the branch’s role in advancing financial inclusion and customer service in the area.
Several senior bank officials were present at the event, including General Manager Vimal Kishore, Deputy General Manager Ravindra Kumar Gupta, and Regional Manager Jivan Lal Sharma. The officials participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, underscoring the strategic importance of the new branch within SBI’s network.
Local community leader Bilal Ahmad also attended the event, reflecting the bank’s commitment to serving all sectors of society, including defense personnel. A large number of customers and well-wishers were present, symbolizing the strong connection between SBI and the local community.
