Srinagar, Jan 23: On the occasion of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Save Sharda Committee Kashmir Regd hosted a vibrant celebration at their Sharda temple along the Line of Control (LoC) in Teetwal, Kashmir.
As per the statement issued here, the event was marked by the lighting of diyas and candles, transforming the entire temple into a spectacle of lights.
The Pran Pratishtha of this unique temple, situated in the last village of the country, took place on June 5, 2023, conducted by HH Shankaracharya of Sringeri Vidusekhara Bharathi Ji.
As part of the festivities today, a large number of locals, including children, enthusiastically participated. The committee joyfully distributed sweets to mark the occasion.
“Ram Mandir marks the second historical Pran Pratishtha after independence, as earlier we consecrated the new Sharda temple at Teetwal in June last year,” said Ravinder Pandita, Head, and Founder of Save Sharda Committee Kashmir Regd.
The celebration not only signifies the religious and cultural significance of the Pran Pratishtha but also underscores the commitment of the Save Sharda Committee to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of the region. The Sharda temple at Teetwal stands as a symbol of cultural continuity and communal harmony, serving as a source of pride for the locals.
The Save Sharda Committee extended its gratitude to HH Shankaracharya, the locals, and all participants for making the celebration a memorable and joyous event.
