Saroori visits families of Anantnag road accident victims, offers condolences

Kishtwar, July 28: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Vice President, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori on Sunday participated in the funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janaazah) of the eight persons, including five children, who lost their lives in the tragic road accident on the Sinthan-Kokernag route in Anantnag district on Saturday.
Saroori visited the grieving family to offer his condolences and support.
In a statement, he said, “Today, I had the heart-wrenching experience of meeting the family members who lost their loved ones in the tragic road accident on the Sinthan-Kokernag route. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the victims.”
He said it is alarming to witness such incidents becoming more frequent, claiming precious lives and causing irreparable damage to families. “The authorities must take immediate and comprehensive measures to enhance road safety and ensure that our roads are secure for all travelers,” he said.
