Srinagar, Aug 31: Democratic Progressive Alliance Party (DPAP) Vice Chairman G M Saroori on Thursday visited Dargah Hazratbal to offer his condolences over the passing away of Moulana Syed Ahmad Farooqi, the former Imam of the shrine.
The Vice Chairman was accompanied by senior party leaders including Peer Bilal, President Central Kashmir, Mohammad Altaf Dar Provincial VP, Shafiq Shabnum Provincial GS, Khalid Tufail Provincial GS, Shujata Bashir Spokesperson, Sheikh Aamir Rasool, Mohd Yaqub Dar, Ghulam Jeelani Ganai, Mohammad Yasin Bhat, Ab Rehman and others senior party leaders, the DPAP said in a statement.
Saroori met the members of the bereaved family and extended his heartfelt condolences over the loss that the family has suffered.
On the occasion, he prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and the endurance of the family to bear the pain of the irreparable loss.
