DYSS hosts Volleyball Tournament at Eidgah Mughal Maidan
Kishtwar, Feb 19: To encourage youth participation in sports, the Department of Youth Services and Sports organised a Volleyball Tournament at Eidgah Mughal Maidan, Zone Inderwal under the aegis of Sansad Khel Spardha 2025.
The tournament was held under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan and the guidance of DYSSO Jaffer Haider Sheikh and supervision of ZPEO Inderwal, witnessing enthusiastic participation from young athletes and sports lovers.
All officials from the department were present at the venue ensuring smooth conduct and fair play throughout the event.
The event not only provided a platform to the emerging players to showcase their skills but also reinforced the importance of sports in building teamwork, discipline and a healthy lifestyle.
