Srinagar, Nov18: Jalshakti PHE Department storms into yet another final of inter-department tournament conducted at Kashmir University in first eliminator.
After winning the toss, Jalshakti PHE deptt opted to bat first, and posted a mammoth total of 236 for the loss of four wickets. For Jalshakti PHE deptt, Sahid Aftab scored 84 off 47 balls and Samiullah Beigh scored unbeaten 83 off 53 balls.
Kashmir Univeristy were restricted on just 114 in their allotted 20 overs.
For Jalshakti John Mohammad took 3 wickets, Ajaz Ahmad Buttoo scalped two.
Kashmir Univeristy will now lock Horns with J&K Forest Department in the second eliminator to decide the second finalist against Jalshakti Department.
Pertinent to mention that Jalshakti PHE department has been champions of previous two interdepartmental tournaments in 2021& 2022.
