Sajad welcomes socio-political activists into PC

Srinagar, Mar 14: Socio-political activists, Faiz Dijoo and Muneeb Quraishi, hailing from diverse political ideologies, received a warm welcome on Thursday as they joined the Peoples Conference in the esteemed presence of its president Sajad Gani Lone, the party said.
The joining ceremony was attended by the party’s Provincial President for Kashmir, Mohammad Khurshid Alam, Spokesperson Adnan Ashraf Mir, Sajad Alam, Youth President Mudasir Karim, Azad Parvaz, District Youth President Mansoor Banday, Tasaduq Yaseen, Bismah Meer among others, the PC said in a statement issued here
In his address to the new members, the PC President praised their decision, emphasizing the potential of youth to catalyze meaningful societal change with their resilience, determination and status as society’s most valuable asset.
“Today, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir have signified their dedication to fostering significant socio-political transformation in our society. They are rising against developmental stagnation and indifference experienced in the past, as demonstrated by these two vibrant individuals who with great zeal joined our party fold,” he stated.
Lone encouraged the newly joined members to carry forward the flambeau of hope ignited by the Peoples Conference among the people, stressing the party’s vision for a developed and economically prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
Expressing gratitude, Faiz and Muneeb thanked the party leadership for providing them with an inclusive platform. “Being entrusted with a role in contributing to the development and betterment of Jammu and Kashmir aligns perfectly with my commitment to our party’s vision and mission,” Faiz said. “Muneeb Quraishi also wholeheartedly pledged his allegiance to uphold the party’s ideals and enhance its grassroots outreach, advancing its mission of positive change in the region.”
