Srinagar, Mar 07: Scores of prominent political activists from Chandigam, Lolab, joined the ranks of the Peoples Conference on Thursday in the presence of party president Sajad Gani Lone, the PC said.
The party in a statement said, “In another joining, dozens from Urjoo Langate also joined the Peoples Conference.”
Addressing the new entrants, the PC President emphasized the party’s unwavering commitment to advancing a public-centric agenda that aligns with the hopes and aspirations of the people. “Peoples Conference stands as a steadfast guiding force for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, illuminating a path towards progress, unity, and inclusive development,” he said.
Acknowledging the significance of the occasion, Lone praised the “widespread acceptability” of the Peoples Conference among the populace and commended its robust public outreach efforts.
”The joining of new members not only highlights Peoples Conference’s growing influence but also reaffirms our steadfast commitment to amplifying voices and addressing the diverse needs of our region. We are resolutely dedicated to propelling our collective journey toward a brighter, more inclusive future,” he said.
The newly joined members praised the party leadership for providing them with a relatable platform and pledged to work diligently to strengthen the party, the statement said.
Meanwhile, dozens of socio-political activists from different political thoughts on Thursday officially joined the Peoples Conference in the Nathipora area of Rafiabad constituency.

“Peoples Conference has been the singular reliable voice of the people, committed to empowering communities, addressing their needs, and ushering in an era of prosperity and development in the region,” Vakil remarked.
He urged the members to pace up the public outreach programs and apprise them about the party’s agenda and vision which is based on “development and equal opportunities for all”.
