Srinagar, Nov 15: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) President, Sajad Gani Lone carried out a series of significant social visits to Watergam and district Kupwara on Wednesday.
These visits, as per a party statement, were a compassionate gesture aimed at extending condolences and demonstrating solidarity with families during their moments of grief.
Initiating his visit in Watergam, Rafiabad, Lone paid his respects and offered condolences to the family of the late Sheikh Bashir Ali, former Vice Chairman of the party and a distinguished legal personality. He warmly remembered Bashir Ali as a mentor in his political journey, acknowledging the invaluable support received during challenging times. He offered prayers for peace and strength to the grieving family.
Lone continued his visits to Gazriyal, Hirri, Buwan, Drugmulla, and Bamree in district Kupwara to extend condolences to the families of deceased workers, providing unwavering solidarity and support.
“Today, we stand together in grief, expressing solidarity with those who have lost their loved ones. Our prayers and thoughts are with the families, hoping for peace and resilience in these trying times,” Lone said.
