Srinagar, Nov 16: Haji Fateh Mohammad Lone, brother of Jammu Kashmir Peoples Conference (PC) founder Abdul Gani Lone and uncle of PC President Sajad Lone passed away on Wednesday. The party leaders have expressed condolence over the demise.
“With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of Haji Fateh Mohammad Lone (younger brother of Marhoom Khwaja Abdul Gani Lone), resident of Dard Harai Kupwara, present residence at Housing Colony Bagh-i-Mehtab Srinagar, on November 15, 2023,” the family said in a statement.
The statement further informed that the congregational Fateha-Khwani will be held at his present residence Bagh-i-Mehtab on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 11.00 am.
Meanwhile, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday visited the Bagh-i-Mehtab residence of Lone family to offer condolences. The party said the deceased was also a close relative of Shoiab Dar, Apni Party’s Youth Wing convener.
During his visit, Bukhari met the bereaved family members and expressed solidarity with them. On this occasion, he said, “I extend my heartfelt condolence to Bilal Lone sahib and Sajad Lone sahib over the passing of their uncle Haji Fatah Mohammad Lone, who was the younger brother of Late Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone. The deceased was also a close relative of Shoiab Dar sahib, Apni Party’s Youth Wing convener. May Almighty give the bereaved strength to bear the pain of this irreparable loss and rest the departed soul in eternal peace.”
