Sagar seeks arrangements for Hazrat Sheikh Yaqoob Sarfi Urs

Srinagar, May 19: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Friday impressed upon the district and divisional administration of Kashmir to ensure round-the-clock facilities to devotees during the forthcoming annual Urs Observance of Hazrat Sheikh Yaqoob Sarfi (RA).
In a statement, party general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar urged the administration to rise up to the occasion and ensure all facilities to devotees on the annual Urs observance of Hazrat Jami Ul Kamalat Sheikh Yaqoob Sarfi( RA) to be observed at his revered shrine at Zainakadal, Srinagar.
“The administration was duty-bound to ensure hassle-free Urs observance by providing round-the-clock transport facilities, drinking water, and electricity supply at the revered shrine,” he said. He also urged the administration to ensure public transport on the roads leading to the shrine.
