Srinagar, Dec 10: Former minister and Additional General Secretary of National Conference, Ajay Sadhotra, on Saturday expressed grief over the demise of J&K Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani.
In his condolence message, Sadhotra said, “I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of Sub-Inspector Masroor Ahmed Wani. He put up a very brave fight after being injured when he was fired upon by militants in Srinagar recently while he was playing cricket with boys in his neighbourhood. My condolences to his loved ones & his colleagues. May his soul rest in peace and I wish patience to his family. My heart goes out to the family of the slain police cop. There is no place for such abominable acts of violence. Such violence only leaves behind a trail of pain and misery. May the departed soul rest in peace.”
