S.P. College student bags gold in 37th National Games at Goa

In a momentous feat, Disha Pandith a talented 3rd Semester student who also happens to be a Black Belt holder in SQAY (Ancient Traditional Martial Arts of Kashmir ) from S. P. College, Srinagar, has clinched the Gold Medal in SQAY category at the prestigious 37th National Games, 2023 held in Goa.

The Principal of the SP College, Prof. (Dr.) Ghulam Jeelani Qurashi expressed his elation and congratulated the student for her outstanding achievement.

Applauding the proud winner, he emphasized on the significance of sports in shaping the character and fostering a spirit of determination and discipline among students.

Prof. (Dr.) Ghulam Jeelani Qurashi said “that the remarkable accomplishment serves as an inspiration to all our students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and strive for greatness.

Our institution takes immense pride in providing a nurturing environment that supports and encourages students to excel not only academically but also in various extracurricular activities, he added.

“This achievement is a testament to the holistic education provided by our institution”, he said.

He further reiterated that the remarkable victory is a testament to the dedication and hard work put in by both the student and the entire college community.
