S K Police Academy’s course on smart policing concludes

Udhampur, Nov 12: A 3-days Vertical Interaction Course on “Smart Policing” which commenced in the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur on Thursday culminated on Saturday here. 
Thirty-one gazetted officers of J&K Police participated in the course. The participants were equipped with knowledge of internal security threats and management, border issues, community policing, menace of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, safety of child-women-elderly, soft skills, cyber awareness and security, crime investigation and prosecution, use of technology in crime preventions, e-FIRs, and SMS-based information.  
Eminent speakers including Gulzar Singh Slathia, IPS former IGP, Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS, IGP Hqrs. PHQ J&K, Dr. Kavita Suri, Director Deptt of Lifelong learning University of Jammu, Dr. Karan Nathwani, Asstt. Professor IIT Jammu Nayeem Abass Hamdani, Cyber Consultant, Vinay Kumar, JKPS, SSP, ANTF, Jammu, Arun Gupta, JKPS, SSP CID, SB Jammu, Kameshwar Puri, JKPS, SP PHQ, and Kamal Sharma, CPO, CID J&K, delivered lectures and shared their valuable experience.
