Jammu, Sep 30: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on a two-day visit on October 14 and 15 to review the organisational preparedness of the Sangh Parivar ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Bhagwat is also scheduled to review various programmes of the RSS like social and public outreach programmes being undertaken in J&K which are aimed at expanding the base of Sangh Parivar by involving all sections of society.
Mohan Bhagwat will hold meetings with different wings-bodies of the organisation on October 14 at Jammu, a senior RSS leader Parshotam Deedechi told Rising Kashmir, adding, “On October 15, the RSS chief will address workers at Kathua.
The RSS workers and leaders in large numbers from Kathua, Basholi, Samba and Billawar will participate in this rally which will be held at Kathua Stadium on October 15, he added.
Deedechi said the RSS chief will also take a review meeting with the senior leaders of J&K BJP at Keshav Bhawan, Jammu, which is the headquarters of the RSS in the union territory.
Bhagwat will hold meetings with different bodies-wings of the RSS like ABVP, Sewa Bharti, VHP and others to take feedback about the political ground situation in J&K besides seeking reports about the different ongoing programmes of the organisation.
An intellectual meet is also being proposed by the RSS during Bhagwat’s visit to Jammu at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium at the Jammu University, Parshotam said.
