Road show/Millet Mela was held today here at Duggar Dhani, Kheral Reasi. The event was organised in connection with “observance of International Years of Millets” to explore the potential of millets in transforming the agricultural scenario.
Such Melas are organized with aim for creating increased awareness about millets, promoting the agro based products from India on a global scale.
The event was formally inaugurated by ADDC Reasi, Jyoti Slathia in presence of Chief Agriculture Officer, Reasi, Harbans Singh, District Agriculture Officer( Extension) Dharmari, Rajesh Verma, SMS- DL, Raghuvir kochhar, District Coordinator JKNRLM, Jugal besides Sarpanch, Kheral, Noor Fatima.
The event included a road show campaign on the millets promotion and an exhibition. On the occasion chief guest inspected the various stalls displaying agriculture and allied activities.
