Srinagar Nov 21: After two consecutive wins, the Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) will take on defending champions Gokulam Kerala FC on Tuesday in Hero I-League 2022-2023 match at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.
Addressing a pre-match press conference, the RKFC head coach Mehraj Uddin Wadoo said the team is ready to play against defending champions Gokulam Kerala FC on Tuesday.
“Gokulam Kerala FC is a good team. They are also last year’s I-League’s champions,” Wadoo told the presser, who was flanked by RKFC’s player Jerry OnesmasPulamte.
Wadoo said the mood is good in the dressing room and everyone is excited for tomorrow’s match.
“It is an important game and we want to be on top of the table. We have won both the games which we played in Imphal and in Srinagar. Everyone is excited for tomorrow’s game and playing good football,” he said.
Gokulam Kerala FC coach Richard Towa said the RKFC is a good team. “We won both the matches of the I-League like RKFC. The RKFC has played good football so far. It is their home ground which may be their advantage but we are ready to take them and play good football,” he added.
Both the teams have reached six-points after winning both their games. Earlier, RKFC defeated Naroca FC at the KhumanLampak stadium Imphal. Then in its first home match, RKFC won against Rajasthan United FC with 2-0.
On Tuesday (November 22), the match is scheduled to start at 2 pm at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.
