Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday congratulated the teams of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 lander module on the moon’s South Pole, and said that it is the result of decades of tremendous ingenuity and hard work by the scientific community.
“Congratulations to Team ISRO for today’s pioneering feat. Chandrayaan 3’s soft landing on the uncharted lunar South Pole is the result of decades of tremendous ingenuity and hard work by our scientific community. Since 1962, India’s space program has continued to scale new heights and inspire generations of young dreamers,” Rahul Gandhi said in a post on X, formerly called Twitter.
The Chandrayaan-3 lander module successfully landed on the moon’s South Pole on Wednesday evening, making India the first country to have achieved the historic feat and bringing to an end the disappointment over the crash landing of the Chandrayaan-2 four years ago.
Meanwhile, Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge praised the hard work of ISRO and said that we are deeply indebted to the remarkable hard work, unparalleled ingenuity and unflinching dedication of our scientists. (ANI)
