Residential house damaged in fire incident at Kangan

Ganderbal, Dec 27: A residential house was damaged in a fire incident at Wussan area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.
Eye-witnesses said that the fire broke out from the residential house in Wussan area engulfed the entire house within minutes. The fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
They said that the house, owned by Gh Rasool Rather, son of Gh Hassan Rather, a resident of Sofi Mohalla, Wussan, was completely, damaged in the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and authorities have launched an investigation. Locals of the area urged the authorities to grant financial assistance to the affected family so that they get some relief in this bone chilling cold.
