Born on April 3rd, 1957, Dar’s craftsmanship blossomed as he drew inspiration from the enchanting landscapes of Kashmir, infusing his carvings with intricate details that mirror the region’s natural beauty. His exceptional talent garnered state recognition in 1984 and culminated in a National award in 1995-96, solidifying his status as a maestro in the art of wood carving.
