Refrain from anti-social activities: Chairman TLSC Kangan to youth

Ganderbal, Aug 12: Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan Esar-Ul-Nabi on Saturday said the ‘International Youth Day’ has great significance and various events are being organised around the world to mark the occasion.
“It is our responsibility to provide quality education and good manners to the youth so that they become an asset to the society and not a responsibility,” he said and advised the youth to refrain from illegal and anti-social activities and focus on their good future.
Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan in collaboration with Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Forum Jammu and Kashmir organised an awareness programme on the occasion of “International Youth Day” at Government Higher Secondary School Hariganiwan on Saturday.
On the occasion, the chief guest was Esar-Ul-nabi, while Chairman Human Rights and Anti Corruption Forum Farooq Ahmed Khatana and other members of the Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Forum, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Hariganiwan, DDC Gund Noorani Jara, resource person advocate Jahangir Mushtaq Bijad, staff members of TLSC Kangan, Para legal volunteers of TLSC Kangan were present.
In addition to the students of various institutions, the members of civil society also participated in the awareness program. The principal of the institution presented a memento to the chief guest on his arrival and gave a reception speech. The students presented cultural programs and also made speeches on the subject.
