The Panchayat Rarri, Block Ramgarh of Samba District hosted a grand Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra today, with the participation of locals and PRIs.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a nationwide outreach initiative launched by the Government to inform and empower citizens about the flagship schemes and programmes. The goal of the Yatra is to achieve 100% saturation of welfare schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, and many more.

The people of Rarri welcomed the IEC van with enthusiasm and participated in various activities organized by them. They listened to Hon’ble PM Modi’s message with keen interest and took part in the Sankalp pledge, committing themselves to the vision of a developed and prosperous India. The beneficiaries also shared their success stories of how they benefited from the government’s schemes under the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” initiative.

The cultural programmes by students of schools added to the festive mood of the event. The stalls for on-spot services provided health camps, blood donation camps, eye check-ups, and other facilities to the people. The event was a huge success and received positive feedback from all sections of society.

The event was graced by the presence of ACD Samba Siddharth Dhiman, BDO Ramgarh Mukesh Sharma, Sarpanch Nirmala Devi, and Naib Sarpanch Daler Singh.
