Srinagar, Dec 13: Mian Altaf Ahmed, the Member of Parliament representing Anantnag-Rajouri, has expressed shock over the recent deaths in Khwas village, located in the Kot Tranka tehsil of Rajouri district.
In a statement issued here, Ahmed described the sudden loss of at least seven persons from two families within a matter of days as both shocking and tragic. “These unexpected deaths in Khwas village are a grave concern,” he said.
The MLA called for immediate medical assistance in the area and a team of medical experts to be dispatched for an epidemiological analysis. “The administration must conduct a thorough investigation in a time-bound manner to accurately determine the cause of these untimely fatalities,” he said.
Mian Altaf extended his heartfelt condolences to the families grieving their losses, praying for the deceased and offering assurances of support.
