Srinagar, Jan 17: Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir Dilbagh Singh on Tuesday said that police had got some solid clues regarding the Rajouri terror attack and the arrests will be made soon.
“We have progressed in the Rajouri attack case. The area is near the forests and four search operations were conducted in the area.  We are tracking their movement through multiple ways,” he said.

“We have details of many people who were in their contact.  Some of them were called for questioning. As per the need of the investigation, arrests will be made soon,” he said.
DGP said the investigation is underway in the case and we hope that success will be achieved soon.
About security arrangements for upcoming Republic Day celebrations, the DGP said as far as republic day arrangements are concerned, a security meeting was held at PCR Srinagar. It was attended by ADG Vijay Kumar, DIGs, SSPs and other senior officials of the department.
“We have taken adequate measures and peaceful R-Day celebrations will be held across the Valley. A large number of people are also expected to participate in the event,” he said.
Regarding Bharat Jodo Yatra, DGP Singh said the Yatra will enter Jammu and Kashmir in two-three days. Adequate security arrangements at both district and range level.
“The Yatra will be regulated so that people will not face any inconvenience during the same. They will be advised to use vehicles on single routes instead of blocking entire roads and walk where the road is wide open,” he said.
About declaring the Deputy Chief of LeT as a global terrorist by the United Nations, the DGP said the main character behind terrorism in J&K and other parts of the country from across the border is being exposed at the international level.
“Now people across the globe know about their heinous crimes and profile.  Various measures are being taken to tighten up the process against the involved people and notify them as terrorists. It will definitely impact them in multiple ways,” he said.
