Srinagar, Feb 15: The Mirchi Food Festival, a first-of-its-kind food event in Kashmir, kicked off at Sher-i-Kashmir Park with an overwhelming response from food enthusiasts. It features a variety of food stalls showcasing the valley’s rich flavours, along with an exclusive kids zone to entertain kids & families.
Radio Mirchi has also unveiled its new addition to the team, introducing a new RJ, RJ Mehmood under the title “Mirchi Ka Rockstar.” The announcement has sparked excitement among the attendees there who eagerly anticipate the fresh energy and entertaining content the new RJ will bring.
Radio Jockey Madeeha shared her excitement about the event, saying that it is the first-of-its-kind food festival in Kashmir.
Madeeha further said that they have ensured proper hygiene and security measures for a comfortable experience.
Farmaan Nisar, MCA student said that he came here to perform in this event as a freelance footballer and enjoyed it so much. “ I really liked the overall environment, thanks to Radio Mirchi. I tried Steam momos & Shawarma & both were so delicious. I would like to suggest others too to visit here & enjoy the delicious food,” he said.
Azad, owner of Qureshi Kabab Corner Srinagar, shared his enthusiasm for introducing a new culinary option to Kashmiri food lovers.
Renowned Kashmiri folk singer Noor Mohammad entertained the audience with a soulful musical performance, adding a cultural charm to the event. Radio Mirchi also organized some fun activities at the event, drawing enthusiastic participation from attendees.
