Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that a 25 year old youth who snatched rifle from CRPF personnel in South Kashmir’s Pulwama brought back with the assistance of his family.
In a tweet, Kashmir Zone Police while quoting ADGP Kashmir wrote, “With assistance of family, Police brought back Irfan Bashir Ganie @ soba Ganie Aged about 25yrs S/o Bashir Ahmad R/o Below Pulwama along with AK-47 rifle which he snatched from CRPF personnel today morning. Investigation going on. We appreciate the role of family”, he said.
Earlier, Police said that incident of weapon snatching with security personnel reported from Rajpora area of Pulwama.
